Size Picking Tips
All dogs are different in size, shape, and coat thickness. Please follow these rules for measuring your dog. We advise that if your dog’s length or collar measurement is on the border between one size and the next, you choose the larger size for comfort. Also if your dog has a long coat, do not measure too tightly.
4 IMPORTANT MEASUREMENTS
- Measure your dog while standing up. With a cloth measuring tape measure body length from the base of the neck to the base of the tail.
- Measure girth, or width, just behind the forelegs.
- For jewelry and collars, be sure to add 2 inches to the neck measurement. You should be able to put two fingers between the collar (or measuring tape) and your dog.
- To measure leg length, measure from top of leg to top of paw.
